This emerging field, focused on integrative and holistic health, provides you with a broader perspective on treatment using approaches from allopathic and complementary medicine to elicit the best health outcomes.

Through innovative and interprofessional approaches to serving and supporting diverse populations, students from the Integrative Health BSc program offered at Arizona State University learn to understand and differentiate the ethics, legalities and standards of practice of integrative health and to think critically about different therapies, modalities and practitioners. Coursework and experiences include an emphasis on research and evidence-based practices and gaining an understanding of the historical and cultural foundations of the integrative health field.

Career Opportunities

Graduates are qualified for a career as a patient representative for integrative health, which involves assisting patients in obtaining services and in understanding policies, and in making health care decisions regarding integrative health.
