Overview
Students enrolled in sculpture courses are introduced to the materials and processes commonly applied to three-dimensional art making and are encouraged to explore individual directions through the development and production of sculpture.
The sculpture studio facilitates practice in mold making, wood, metal fabrication, and stone. A major in Studio Art with a Sculpture Specialization prepares graduates for careers as fine artists, graduate study in fine arts, and entry-level positions in art and graphic design.
