Those applicants who do not meet assured admission, or do not submit test scores, will be reviewed holistically. All students ranked in the fourth quartile of their class must submit scores that meet assured admission standards for admission.
When reviewing your application, Texas State will consider your high school curriculum, admission essay(s), quality and competitive level of courses taken and grades earned, in addition to other factors presented in your application.
International first-time college applicants are required to graduate or have graduated from a foreign secondary school with an academic profile equivalent to that of a U.S. high school curriculum. They must meet freshman admission standards and meet the minimum English Language Proficiency Requirements.
