Overview

In this ABET-accredited Industrial Engineering program from Wichita State University, you'll study core industrial engineering courses. You can also choose from a number of technical electives—allowing you to specialize in areas such as engineering systems, ergonomics or manufacturing engineering.

As a senior, you'll work in a team on a two-semester project, giving you practical experience you'll put to use in your future engineering career.

Programme Structure

Course content:

The maximum number of credit hours that can be used for both undergraduate and graduate program credit (joint degree courses) is limited to 9 credit hours.

Only courses 700 level and above can be used for joint credit.

Courses that are prerequisites for the graduate program, core courses in the undergraduate curriculum, workshop or cooperative education courses are also excluded.

Until the bachelor’s degree is awarded, for each semester in which the student takes courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level, a Dual/Accelerated Enrollment Form must be completed indicating the courses taken for graduate credit (as well as joint credit).

The bachelor’s degree may be awarded at any time following the completion of the undergraduate degree requirements and completion of the joint degree hours.

The bachelor’s degree must be awarded at least two semesters before the graduate degree is awarded.

Achieve an ACT composite of 21 or higher OR a minimum combined SAT ERW+M score of 1060 (test optional for admission)

And, if applicable, achieve a 2.0 GPA on all college credit taken in high school.

Students must submit final high school transcripts.
