The program is funded to provide services to students from first generation and limited income families as well as students with disabilities. The primary goal of SSS is to help transition, retain and graduate college students. The program provides a variety of academic support services that include individualized tutoring, success skill development, course planning and advising.

The library has many material, many courses have free supplemental instruction for those who need extra help understand the subject, and many professors provide extra resources on Blackboard. There are also many great places to study on campus: the library, dorms, or the RSC.
Overall, my time at this school has been pretty good. I've been given a lot of opportunities that I may not have had elsewhere and I do think I have been given the tools to succeed in my future goals. However, there are several drawbacks. WSU possesses a large quantity of students who are only there to get a degree, and hence there is not a lot of interest in classes or...
I like that it is a small campus, student friendly environment and lots of international students in my program. I was taught by very good professors and the subjects I have learnt were helpful in me landing a job after my graduation.
