Programme Structure

Courses include:

MSCS major courses.
Only ECE and CS prefixed courses at the 700-level and above can be used for dual credit hours.
Only MSCS major courses at the 700-level and above can be used for dual credit hours. Up to 9 credit hours can be used for the combined undergraduate and graduate program.
Until the bachelor’s degree is awarded, a Dual/Accelerated Enrollment Form must be completed for each semester in which the student takes qualifying courses at the graduate level.
Up to 12 credit hours of elective courses, i.e., courses other than the major courses listed, may be taken by an MSCS student. Of these 12 credit hours of electives, at most 6 credit hours may be from outside the EECS department.

Have a cumulative 2.25 or higher GPA on a 4.00 scale, OR

Achieve an ACT composite of 21 or higher OR a minimum combined SAT ERW+M score of 1060 (test optional for admission)

And, if applicable, achieve a 2.0 GPA on all college credit taken in high school.

Students must submit final high school transcripts.

Transcripts or examination results may be sent away for verification. If selected, it may take some time for the verification results to be returned.

The TOEFL or IELTS are not required to apply.
