Overview

The effective administrative capabilities are first developed through the mastery of a variety of skills learned through many disciplines in the liberal arts and business administration curriculum.

Good managers must be able to communicate effectively; reason conceptually and quantitatively; understand accounting, finance, and economics; and possess good human relations and interpersonal skills.

Through the six-course management core, students are then given the opportunity to apply these skills to specific management areas. Consequently, when students complete these studies, they are able to assume positions in a management track.
