Overview
The department offers a 120-hour Bachelor of Science degree and a 45-hour Master of Health Informatics and Information Management at Louisiana Tech University. Both programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Health Informatics and Information Management (CAHIIM).
The mission of the Department is to provide a superior educational experience. We empower students to excel in the HIIM profession and to support the community and industry by striving for excellence in teaching, research, and service. Our graduates will be prepared to improve the delivery of health care by using technology to manage all aspects of health data collection, use, and dissemination.
