Overview

The field encompasses a variety of sub-disciplines relating to the care of health, including the study of public health, health care administration, health promotion and education, nutrition, disease and other issues that affect health and well-being. Students at Health Sciences BSc degree from The University of Vermont who have earned a Health Sciences degree may work in hospitals, government agencies, non-profit organizations, private companies or schools.
