Overview

The Diplomacy and Military Studies program of study at Hawai'i Pacific University is constructed to give students historical, ethical, and practical perspectives on politico-military affairs. Students take a wide variety of courses that provide broad geographic and chronological context.

The B.S. in DMS develops the skills, base of knowledge, and moral awareness that will serve as preparation for a career as a leader, whether in today’s military or in the private sector. Those same skills and knowledge base provide a foundation for pursuing a graduate degree in history, political science, international relations, or law.

The B.S. in Diplomacy and Military Studies prepares students for a broad range of careers in areas such as journalism, education, management, law, various government roles, military and public interest fields.
