Overview

The study of mathematics is much more than memorizing formulas and plugging in numbers. It’s about studying and understanding abstract concepts that are represented mathematically.

At Wofford you’ll be able to choose if you want to pursue a concentration in applied or pure mathematics and focus your coursework in one of those areas to better prepare you for the career you've chosen after graduation.

You'll also enjoy small classes with interesting professors who have a passion for what they are teaching, whether its Multivariable Calculus, Mathematical Modeling, or Abstract Algebra.
