Environmental Studies pulls together ideas and tools from several different disciplines to study the impact that humans have on the natural world.
You’ll take a set of core classes in Environmental Studies and then work with an advisor to select an area of study that will be your focus area for the remainder of the hours needed to complete the major.
At Wofford you can get either a BA or a BS in Environmental Studies, depending on how you complete your science requirements. You’ll also have the opportunity to study at the college’s Goodall Environmental Studies Center. Located about 8 miles from campus on the banks of Lawson’s Fork Creek, the Goodall Environmental Studies Center is a converted mill office that achieved LEED Platinum status for its renovation.
