As a major in accounting or finance at Wofford, you will have the opportunity to interact with a faculty that has experience in the business, non-profit, and academic realms. 

Overview

The Department of Accounting, Business and Finance offers majors in accounting and finance, and minors in accounting, business and finance. 

The Department of Accounting, Business and Finance participates with the Department of Economics in offering the major in business economics and with the Department of Computer Science in offering the emphasis in information management. These programs are described in detail within economics and computer science programs, respectively.

Students majoring in accounting or finance may NOT major in business economics. The minor in business is NOT available to students majoring in business economics.

General Requirements

  • Complete the  Common Application, including the Wofford College member page.
  • Submit the School Report form and your high school transcript(s).
  • Submit your official test scores.
  • The TOEFL (minimum score 90) or IELTS (minimum score 7) is required for all applicants whose native language is not English. If a minimum score is not met, a recorded or scored interview may be taken into consideration. We are happy to recommend  Initial View, ACTFL OPIc, and Vericant. 
  • The SAT or ACT is a requirement for native English speakers. SAT or ACT scores are expected from all international applicants unless students are unable to reach a testing center.Submit completed  Financial Certification for International Students.
