Overview
The comprehensive Nanoscience program at Northwest Missouri State University is the study of structures in nanometer size which is smaller than cells but larger than most molecules. At Northwest, this interdisciplinary major focuses on providing practical laboratory experiences, isolating DNA and synthesizing nanoparticles to construct solar cells. Freshman admission for international students is evaluated on an individual basis. Admission is offered to students who possess academic qualifications equivalent to those required for domestic first-time freshmen.
For comparison purposes, admission requirements for domestic first-time freshmen must include the following:
