Majority of our Healthcare Administration graduates either go on to graduate school or enter the work force and assumes supervisory and middle management positions in hospitals, nursing homes, psychiatric facilities, group practices, managed care plans, ambulatory centers, home health agencies, public health organizations, and other types of clinical services.  Our students are also hired by federal, state, and local government agencies.

General Requirements

  • Application: A completed application
  • Transcripts: Prospective students should request that their high school send a transcript.  A six or seven semester transcript can be submitted for early review and a final official transcript submitted upon graduation which lists all high school course work, the date of graduation, grade point average, and class rank.
  • Test Scores:  Request that an official ACT or SAT score(s) is sent to Jackson State University.
  • Immunization Record: All students born after December 31, 1956 must submit proof of immunization compliance for measles, mumps, and rubella.
