Social Entrepreneurship from Roosevelt University creates opportunities for students to learn about social entrepreneurship through courses, workshops, speakers, and student-run organization events.

Careers

The social entrepreneurship program is designed to serve students who aspire at some point in their lives to be social entrepreneurs, executives in social-purpose organizations, philanthropists, board members, or leading volunteers in their communities and the social sector. Courses in this major will also appeal to students interested in incorporating strategies for social impact into their business and entrepreneurial careers. Social entrepreneurship can exist in any sector (private, nonprofit and government). Much of the most effective work crosses sectors.

General requirements

Complete the online application.

Provide cumulative high school GPA for at least 3 years of study and SAT/ACT test scores, test optional for most majors. Self-report information is accept for most programs but an official transcript might be required for admission.

Coursework completed outside the U.S. requires a Foreign Credential Evaluation to be submitted.

English Language Proficiency: All international students and individuals who completed a degree program outside the United States are required to meet this requirement.
