Objectives

The Engineering program at Pacific University Oregon is a "3/2" dual-dual degree program in which students earn two bachelor's degrees in five years, one in a natural sciences discipline from Pacific University and one in engineering from either Portland State University or Case Western Reserve University.

Students spend three years at Pacific to complete the core of a liberal arts degree, such as engineering science or physics, followed by two years at either Portland State University or Case Western Reserve University. Credits transfer between institutions to complete the two degrees.

Graduates of the engineering program will have:

an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility

an ability to communicate effectively

the broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental and societal context.
