A Romain College of Business Marketing degree prepares students to be successful in exciting and rewarding careers such as brand management, sports and entertainment marketing, healthcare marketing, product development, advertising, professional selling, event planning, and business consulting.  


Recent Marketing graduates have gone on to great careers with Escalade Sports, Shoe Carnival, Berry Plastics, the Evansville Icemen, Bristol Myers Squibb, Vectren, Newell Rubbermaid, Fifth-Third bank, and Northwestern Mutual Finance.  Opportunities for marketing graduates are varied and include dynamic employers.

Each freshman applicant is reviewed on an individual basis and is evaluated on the following areas from his/her high school transcript:

  • four years of English
  • three to four years of laboratory science
  • three years of social studies
  • three to four years of mathematics

  • SAT and/or ACT composite scores
  • academic achievement (grade point average, class rank, coursework)
  • extra-curricular involvement
  • recommendations from counselors
