
Overview
Throughout the Women's and Gender Studies BA program from the University of Michigan - Dearborn s you learn about a wide range of gender issues, you’ll develop important skills like analytical and critical thinking and cross-disciplinary integration of knowledge–skills that appeal to both employers and competitive graduate programs.
You’ll be immersed in an interdisciplinary curriculum that analyzes how gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality, nationality, and class intersect to construct our social, cultural, and lived experiences. You’ll also be introduced to fundamental concepts, theories, and methods of women’s and gender studies scholarship.
Our program combines academic learning with real-world experience. The community service orientation of our program provides hands-on experiences that will contribute to your intellectual growth and your post-graduate employment opportunities.
