Prior College Hours

UTRGV will continue with test-optional practices for the 2023-2024 application cycle. Students applying to UTRGV for Spring, Summer, or Fall 2023 will have the option to submit a test score if the students elect to share. Students wishing to submit a test score should have their score sent directly from the testing agency to UTRGV. Applicants in doing so are providing permission for the score to be used as a factor in UTRGV's Holistic Review process.

While test scores are not required for an admission decision, test scores are required for Tuition Advantage and are highly encouraged for Scholarships, College of Engineering Admissions, Biomedical Program Admissions, etc.
