The Communication Strategy and Design major at Ithaca College prepares students to communicate the message of an organization internally, locally, and globally.

CSD majors learn to craft, plan, build, and execute an organization’s communications to make sure their core message is always delivered the right way—and correct it if it’s not. CSD majors learn to communicate creatively, effectively, and successfully for any type of organization.

The way an organization communicates can be the key to its success or failure. Communication Strategy and Design (formerly Communication Management and Design) is designed for students who want to be part of the solution and lead the creative and strategic communication functions that create change.

This degree provides students with the fundamental principles and skills used create social impact, develop the vision, invent strategy, and design of communication solutions for all organizations.

The Financial Aid Application in IC Connect.

An official secondary school transcript that displays courses and grades for all years of secondary school attended. Applicants must also submit official leaving exam results and official transcripts from all colleges and/or universities attended, if applicable.

All documents written in a world language must be accompanied by a certified English translation. Please note that both documents are required—the original in your first language and the English translation.

A letter of recommendation is optional. If submitted, it must be from the principal, school head, or college counselor, sent directly from your school to Ithaca College.
