Award-winning Music - Musical Theatre major from University of Central Oklahoma offers a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre. All students must audition and be accepted into the UCO Musical Theatre program. A limited number of students are accepted each Fall. Both freshmen and transfers are accepted.

Overview

The Musical Theatre Division of the School of Music has a faculty and staff of seasoned professional performers and directors who guide students through an interdisciplinary program that includes comprehensive training in singing, dancing, and acting. Students will also study Music Theory, Aural Skills, Piano, History of Music Theater, Musical Theatre, Music Theater Directing, Stage Make-up, Stagecraft, Production/Performance, Major Ensemble and Applied Voice.
