What is Data Science?
Simply put, data science is the study of data. It involves developing systems to record, store, and analyze data so valuable information can be effectively mined. As a data scientist, you’ll bring your strong interest in math/statistics, science, technology, and engineering and use your inquisitiveness to organize, process, and analyze data to uncover useful information for your organization.

- International first-year students must complete a placement exam to determine their math and writing preparedness. If available, it is highly recommended and preferred that international students complete the ACT or SAT to satisfy this requirement
