Overview

The Finance program from Columbus State University also provides students with the foundation to pursue post-graduation certifications such as Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Analyst, Appraiser or attend graduate school.

In addition, the program works with the math department to provide a minor in actuarial science. Students are offered the opportunity to study a variety of required and elective courses in real estate and financial services totaling 21 hours. The program offers courses day, at night or online on a rotating basis.

Career opportunities include professionals in corporate finance departments, banking & insurance professionals, real estate development professionals, financial & estate planners, business analyst, retirement fund administrators and many others.
