The Department of Marketing and Management offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, preparing students for careers in both the private and public sectors as well as graduate programs in business and marketing.


The degree program provides students with a thorough study in marketing with an emphasis on the development of skills in a variety of marketing areas study such as consumer behavior, strategy, and research.

Undergraduate marketing majors will acquire high quality training in marketing that prepares them for their careers.

Students will possess core marketing fundamentals. Specifically, they will be able:

  • Students will exhibit comprehension of core marketing fundamentals
  • Undergraduate marketing majors will be able to successfully communicate marketing knowledge.
  • Undergraduate marketing majors will synthesize information in the internal and external environment for marketing decision making. Undergraduate marketing majors will formulate a marketing plan that aligns forces in the external environment with the core competencies of the firm.
  • Undergraduate marketing majors will demonstrate active management of a marketing strategy in a competitive environment.

    Programme Structure

    • Emphasis is placed on the development of skills in a variety of marketing areas to help our students succeed in an ever-changing marketplace. In our program you can choose electives in services marketing, advertising, retail, logistics, personal selling, and sales management, all designed to enhance your professional profile.
    • Of course, you’ll also learn the fundamentals of marketing and identifying customer needs and satisfying those needs. You’ll uncover the mysteries of the four P's in marketing — product, price, place, and promotion — and how to manage them in your marketing mix.

    Academic Requirements

    You need the following GPA score:

    Required score: 2.5

    Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

    Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
