Overview

You’ll learn kinesiology concepts in human movement, exercise and management. How can athletes avoid injury? What role does strength conditioning play? How can diet affect the body? You’ll gain knowledge and skills that are important for any career in fitness or wellness as you take 50 credit hours towards a Bachelor of Arts degree.

We offer a bachelor degree in Exercise Science at Concordia University, St. Paul. You’ll also have real opportunities to learn beyond the classroom via Concordia Health Alliance for Majors in Physical Education & Kinesiology (CHAMP) Club activities; participation in conferences, workshops, seminars, and clinics locally and nationally; and internship opportunities with a variety of organizations and sports teams.

Because we design our exercise science program to be responsive to the exact needs of the marketplace, it will be a relevant major if you’re considering graduate study in areas such as exercise physiology or a career as a personal trainer, sports coach, chiropractor, community wellness director, occupational therapist, athletic trainer or physical therapist.
