Overview

The Graphic Design course from the Adelphi University is an ideal launchpad for a career in graphic design, from UX/UI to editorial, publication, motion graphics, animation or infographic design. You’ll build a strong foundation in fundamentals of design, image and typography and learn to solve a wide range of design problems. Where you intern is also up to you. Leverage our connections to leading New York City-based agencies, or intern on campus at the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center, the Office of University Communications and Marketing, or the LGBTQ+ and Allies Committee. You’ll gain firsthand insight into the daily workings of design studios and create portfolio pieces you can use after graduation.
