Overview

Exercise and Health Science is the study of movement and the associated biological responses and adaptations, and the study of applied science relating to human physical and behavioral wellbeing.

Students in the Health Human Performance - Exercise and Health Sciences program at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga will learn about the scientific approach of the discipline and the links between fitness, exercise, and health. Ultimately, a degree in EHS will equip students to help others lead healthier lives.

Key Features

To this end, students will be taught how to apply the knowledge they have learned to practical situations in the field. In addition to participating in engaging face-to-face or online courses, students will have the opportunity to complete internships, participate in faculty-led research, receive one-on-one faculty mentoring, and participate in experiential service-learning.
