Health Care Administration students at Sam Houston State University will develop skills in management, health promotion, planning, and human resource administration. Coursework

Health care administration is a multidisciplinary degree composed of courses from health, business, economics, management, and psychology. Students will learn to distinguish among the various roles in the health care services industry; analyze data and information for effective decision making; recognize the legal and ethical principles and responsibilities of health care organizations; strategically evaluate and improve performance in health care organizations; and demonstrate collaborative leadership and teamwork.
