
Overview
The BA Women’s and Gender Studies at Pace University emphasizes gender (femininities and masculinities) while including other categories of analysis such as race, class, and sexuality.
By reexamining history, literature, and other disciplines, from a feminist and/or queer perspective, this program seeks to understand sex roles and stereotypes of women and men in past and contemporary societies, women’s special concerns, and the representation of gender and sexuality in the arts and humanities.
