Civil Engineering graduates are awarded a B.S. Civil Engineering degree. Civil Engineers help modern civilization by designing, planning, and managing the construction and development of complex infrastructural projects such as industrial and residential buildings, bridges, roadways, waterways, airport runways, water treatment facilities, etc. According to the American Society of Civil Engineers( ASCE) and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment of civil engineers is projected to grow about 20 percent from 2012 to 2022, which is faster than the average for all occupations.
