Overview

While you’re earning this bachelor’s degree, you’ll gain a broad understanding of the criminal justice system with courses ranging from Correctional Law to Terrorism and Public Policy.

With this Criminal Justice degree, you’ll learn to apply problem-solving skills to the real-world issues we see every day, all around us. A Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Homeland Security prepares you to work in law enforcement, corrections, victim advocacy, homeland security, emergency management, loss prevention, and other fields. Our program will also prepare you for graduate studies in criminal justice, criminology, social work, sociology, and law. The required coursework gets you ready for positions in public management by teaching you policy analysis, budgeting, and public affairs.

Mission

The mission of Indiana University Kokomo, a regional campus of Indiana University, is to enhance the educational and professional attainment of the residents of north central Indiana through effective teaching, learning, and civic engagement and by providing a wide range of bachelor's degrees, and a limited number of master's and associate degrees.
