It is the collective study of human nature, business, communication, history, politics, culture and economics. As a business tool, advertising develops memorable and informative messages that tell a meaningful story to the right people at the right time, in the right place, in the right way, in order to make a sell.

Key facts:

The undergraduate curriculum from at University of Tennessee Knoxville is comprised of eight classes, sequentially designed to prepare students to successfully enter the competitive world of advertising. Each course is set up to mirror a traditional agency experience and focuses on real world skills in research, computer graphics, media, strategy, campaign development, and more. Additionally, students are introduced to the wide range of diverse job opportunities outside the traditional advertising agency or in-house studio experience.
