The COSMA-accredited program is among the largest undergraduate programs in the nation with an international reputation for producing outstanding professionals.

The Sport Management major at the Bowling Green State University is delivered by one of the most diverse sport management faculties in the country with10 full-time faculty members, all actively involved in research/publication, teaching and/or professional leadership.

Key Features

Students gain valuable practical experience by doing fieldwork, practica, and internships. Locations for fieldwork are carefully selected by students in collaboration with their advisers and/or the Sport Management Field Experience Coordinator. All field experiences are conducted under the supervision of Sport Management faculty.

Students have completed fieldwork with such organizations as the Ameritech Senior Open, Atlanta Hawks, Big East Conference, Boston Celtics, Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers, International Management Group, Los Angeles Rams, Maryland, Medsport, Michigan State, Mid-American Conference, NBC Sports, New England Patriots, New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers, Ohio State University, Olympic Training Center, Performance Research, Pittsburgh Penguins, Pittsburgh Pirates, Purdue, Recreation Unlimited, Sports Channel, and Women’s Sports Foundation.
