UTSA’s Criminal Justice Program

The Criminology and Criminal Justice program of The University of Texas at San Antonio includes subjects like policing, investigations, forensic science, violent crime, the legal system, victimology and more. You’ll take classes at the Downtown Campus, which grants convenient access to both downtown San Antonio and dozens of nearby internship opportunities from local, county, state and federal agencies.

Looking to get out of the country? You could even travel to Spain as part of a study abroad program that engages students in a comparative study of criminal justice. This program provides the opportunity to become a well-rounded graduate in an increasingly globalized world and to pursue professional careers in government or the private sector as well as apply to law or graduate schools. You could also work to improve government institutions that deter and mitigate crime and promote a safer community for all.
