Overview

The recently revised Bachelor of Science in Textile Technology at North Carolina State University interweaves basic knowledge of fiber materials, science and technologies relevant to fiber processing with product design and development throughout the curriculum. The curriculum prepares students in product design/development processes, beginning with understanding of application to material selection to appropriate technologies to utilize.

After introductory exposure to fundamental aspects of fiber science and textile technology, the student builds additional depth and appropriate skills in multiple disciplines in one of the three specialty areas of concentration in:

technical textiles

textile supply chain operations.

There is an $85 application fee ($100 for international applicants). You can either pay it online or provide an official fee waiver.
