Marketing serves critical economic functions; companies of all sizes must develop effective marketing strategies to reach customers; this requires an understanding of how to innovate and develop new products, create effective promotional programs, price products and services, and distribute these in a global marketplace. 


The marketing curriculum at Fox provides students with occupationally-viable skills and professional development opportunities.

Contemporary marketing focuses on performance metrics and the Fox marketing curriculum seeks to immerse students in the quantitative methods and the behavioral sciences necessary to address marketing problems. Experiential and active learning are common in the upper division curriculum and projects are often offered in cooperation with business and government organizations.

Students are encouraged to choose specific curriculum-based course sequences within the curriculum which offer more in-depth coverage of topics and provide job-ready skills. These sequences include: Supply Chain Management, Digital Marketing, Consumer Insights, Sales Force Effectiveness, and Retailing.

Academic Requirements

Official High School and/or University transcripts with English translations: Your application needs to include all official and original academic records from each secondary school and college or university you’ve attended.
Standardized Tests:
Freshman Applicants: All first-year applicants are required to submit the results of at least one of the following tests: SAT, ACT, TOEFL iBT ®, IELTS, or PTE.
Transfer Applicants: Transfer students should submit either the TOEFL iBT ®, IELTS, or PTE unless they meet one of the following exemptions: 
          -  The applicant has successfully completed English composition at a US accredited
             college or university.
          -  English is the applicant's native language.
The required English Proficiency for non-native speakers is as follows: 
          -  TOEFL: 79 
          -  IELTS: 6.0
          -  PTE: 53
Please note that certain majors, including those within the Fox School of Business will require a higher level of proficiency, as follows:
         -  TOEFL: 84
         -  IELTS: 6.5
         -  PTE: 56
Those with language test scores below the required level are still encouraged to apply. Students who need further English language instruction may be eligible for Provisional or Conditional admission offers including the Access Temple Program.
Recommendation LettersAt least one recommendation letter is required of all freshman applicants. It's best to select people such as teachers, counselors, and other academic officials who can describe your talents.
