Overview

The Interior Design BSc programme from Kansas State University provides students the opportunity to explore the rich intersections between human ecological theory, design theory and interior design practice. Students are admitted through a selective admissions process, and are taught to become professionals who design interior spaces that are sustainable, founded on evidence-based strategies, and enhance user satisfaction, health, well-being, productivity and safety for all and at all stages in life.

K-State's interior design degree prepares graduates for professional roles in the building construction industry and allied professional roles. Most K-State interior design graduates enter the profession in positions within multi-disciplinary architecture and design firms. Many graduates are employed in interior design firms.
