Environmental experts
As an Environmental Engineering major at Marquette University, you'll have the knowledge and hands-on experience to clean up contaminated wastewater, industrial wastes, sediments and air pollutants. You’ll understand the principles of water resources engineering for the modeling, management and protection of lakes, rivers and streams. You’ll practice the concepts of sustainability and urban management to sustain our planet.
Love multiple sciences?
Environmental engineers work at the interface of physics, chemistry and biology — for example, studying the physics of oxygen transferred from air to a river, the chemistry of dissolved gasses in the river and the uptake of dissolved oxygen by healthy fish. As an environmental engineering major at Marquette, you'll develop a strong foundation in multiple sciences.
