Overview

The Zoology program offered by Utah Valley University will allow students to examine the diversity, anatomy, physiology, evolution, behavior, and ecology of animals while also giving students a strong background in the fundamentals of biological science. A degree in Zoology can open the door to a wide variety of careers in different industries. Studying Zoology will prepare students for veterinary, dental, or graduate school, and provides them with highly employable career options in animal care (e.g. aquaria, zoos, aviaries), wildlife biology, conservation, and government agencies.

Fill out the application completely (must be 18 years or older to apply) and pay the $115 application fee.
Send official transcripts or records with your application, showing you have graduated from a school level that meets U.S. high school requirements for graduation.
Students outside the U.S. and transferring within the U.S. receive a Form I-20, which is a Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) record. The I-20 is issued by the designated school official (DSO) at the SEVP-certified school of the student's choosing.
International Transfer students are issued an I-20 once their current school releases their SEVIS record to UVU.
Financial statements (all financial support papers must be in English, showing amounts in U.S. dollars) must be no older than 3 months, and the cost must show the total for one academic year or 8 months.
