Business Management at West Virginia University

The management major has the following basic components: WVU Tech’s general education foundation (GEF), business core, and restricted/free electives. First, WVU Tech’s GEF provides a foundation in the liberal arts, sciences, and math while exposing students to a broader world view. Second, the business core provides students with a common set of business tools and a body of business skills and knowledge necessary in the field of management and leadership. Third, the major offers restricted and free electives which enable students to focus their studies on additional areas of interest within the field of business.
