The Colorado Mesa University Accounting (3 Plus 2 Program) accelerated degree is a challenging program designed to prepare graduates for the changing business world.

Earning your accounting degree at CMU is one step along the path toward CPA licensure.Each Spring, students have the unique opportunity to work with area CPAs through CMU’s Tax Assistance Program, reviewing student-prepared returns and answering research- and return-related questions. Several students participate in internships each year, primarily during the tax season, to get hands-on experience with CPA firms. Graduates with their accounting degree often have job offers before they finish the program.

Complete the 3+2 program application and obtain required signatures from both the advisor and MBA Coordinator.
Select an academic evaluator and submit their name and email so the MBA Liaison can send the recommendation form.
Write and submit a 750‑word personal essay explaining your reasons for pursuing the MBA and your professional goals.
Request official transcripts to be sent directly from the Registrar to the MBA Office
