Overview

This Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Science program at University of Rochester seeks to amplify the interdisciplinary relationships between climate science, earth systems, resources, environmental science, and planetary science into one major.

Students will have the option to specialize in one of the three track themes:

Climate and environmental sciences
Geosciences
Earth and planetary sciences

Hands-On Learning

Learning at Rochester is hands-on, with state-of-the art laboratories and field trips comprising essential components of the degree program. Undergraduate students are encouraged to participate in faculty research, with opportunities to take part in data acquisition projects worldwide. Undergraduate students work side by side with graduate students and faculty, maximizing the learning and teaching experience.
