Overview
The Medical Imaging course from Caldwell University student must complete at least 90 credits at Caldwell, including all of the core curriculum, plus courses in math and science. During the junior year, the student applies for admission to Rutgers and selects a track: Diagnostic Medical Sonography (46 credits; runs from fall semester to the fall semester of the following year) or Cardiac Sonography (50 credits; runs from the summer term to the fall semester of the following year).
Key facts:
If the student is successful in entering and completing the programme, 30 credits from Rutgers will be transferred to Caldwell, and the student will be awarded the B.S. Medical Imaging degree from both Rutgers and Caldwell.
If the student is not successful in completing or getting accepted into the Rutgers programme, the student may take additional courses at Caldwell to complete either the Biology or Health Science major. The courses required for this programme were selected to exceed the requirements of Rutgers and to meet the requirements of the Caldwell majors.
