Abilene Christian University's Teacher Certification - Middle School Education degrees allow you to certify to teach grades 4 though 8 in English Language Arts, Social Studies, Science or Mathematics.

Middle School Education students can choose to focus on English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies or Mathematics. Your professional preparation program will provide multiple opportunities to participate in classrooms prior to your student teaching semester. Students who do not meet the minimum requirement may still be considered through a comprehensive review and may need to take remedial English courses. All international students must provide proof of English proficiency unless they:

Completed 2 consecutive years at a U.S. high school
Submit official high school transcripts, diploma/leaving certificate, and exam results. Unofficial transcripts can be used for application review, but official documents are required for final enrollment. Documents must be in the original language with official English translations if needed.
