The programme is designed for students who are determined to get an advanced degree in applied mathematics or mathematics. As a result, the math course loads are heavy in most semesters. Students satisfying the following requirements are eligible to apply to the B.S./M.S. combined programme:

Have completed four semesters of full-time study in the B.S. programme, or have at least 80 credit hours (including transferred credits)

Have an overall GPA of 3.25 or better

Have a GPA of 3.5 or better for math courses
