Overview

The Biology Department provides coursework that allows students substantial flexibility in biologically based career options while instilling an appreciation for the complexity and diversity of life. Our biology laboratory courses prepare students with the firsthand skills necessary to pursue professional positions in the medical field, industry, and research. In biology lecture courses, students learn the mechanisms, theory, history, and philosophy of each biological science.
