You will study your Foundation programme at our Centre located at the heart of the university campus.

Who is this programme designed for?

This Medical Sciences - Undergraduate Foundation Programme offered by OnCampus UK North is designed to prepare international students who have completed senior secondary education for undergraduate study at The University of Lancashire . All students who successfully complete the UFP are guaranteed placement on a suitable programme of undergraduate study at The University of Lancashire. The UFP is set at level 3, which is equivalent to A-level standard in the UK.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed at regular intervals throughout the programme to ensure you are making the progress required to successfully complete the programme. Full assessment of the programme will take place in the final term. Assessment methodologies are aligned to those that will be experienced in the University environment, and include project work, essays, presentations and unseen examination.

From 4.0 IELTS or equivalent for 3 semester Extended UFP. The Extended programme includes an English language module followed by 2 semesters of UFP.

From 4.5 IELTS or equivalent, with no single component less than 4.0, for 2-semester UFP.

OnCampus UK North can accept students on the UFP who turn 17 within one calendar month of the start of term date.
