Overview

The Economics programme offered by Drexel University offers a large number of free elective credits, giving students the flexibility to develop in-depth knowledge in a field outside of economics by pursuing a minor or double major.

As students pursue their BS in Economics, they have access to a wide variety of courses both within and outside the business school, a vast array of experiential learning opportunities offered by both Drexel and LeBow, and the career resources and support needed to ensure they are on the right path to achieving their career goals.

Career Opportunities

The undergraduate programs allow you to combine the study of economics with courses in other areas. While each program has a different emphasis, they all provide a core set of skills acquired from the study of economics, which includes:

Specialized training in understanding the market system, economic institutions, policies and development
Exploration of supply and demand in markets, consumer choice, cost structure of firms and profit maximization
