Students at Liberal Arts degree from University of Massachusetts Lowell must also satisfy the Interdisciplinary Focus requirement, which ties everything together. Most students will satisfy this requirement by taking Foundations in Liberal Studies in their sophomore year and Capstone in Liberal Studies in their senior year.
